Because this is a private blog, its posts reflect the opinions and interests of the author(s) and no one else. I/We have opinions, beliefs and points of view that you may or may not share. So if you disagree with my/our posts, see paragraph 2.

2. I encourage vigorous debate in the comments. Please read the Comments Policy atop every comment-entry block before you post a comment. I do enforce it!

If you don’t agree with what is posted here, that’s quite okay. You can:

A. start your own blog and respond there,

B. leave a comment. I summarily delete all comments using profanity, whether they support or oppose my posts. I may respond to your comment, but probably won’t; I just don’t have time.

C. email me, understanding that I entirely ignore flames and rarely have time to answer reader email, even though I wish I could.

D. celebrate the wonderful diversity of viewpoints found in our great country, even views you don’t agree with.

3. I do not represent any organization on this site. I do not speak on behalf of any organization. I am an elder of the United Methodist Church, but I am not speaking on behalf of the UMC as a whole here, nor any agency, board, commission, congregation or entity thereof. Period.

4. I sell advertising space on this blog in the form of Blogads. Please be advised that just because I accept an ad for publication, it does not mean I endorse the product or service advertised.
