Flip-flopping on himself
Not only can John Kerry flip-flop on issues, he can even flip-flop on himself!
Kerry, Speech to the International Association of Fire Fighters, Aug. 19, 2004:
Of course, the President keeps telling people he would never question my service to our country. Instead, he watches as a Republican-funded attack group does just that. Well, if he wants to have a debate about our service in Vietnam, here is my answer: "Bring it on."
Kerry,
address in Springfield, Ohio, Sept. 2, 2004:
I will not have my commitment to defend this country questioned by those who refused to serve when they could have and by those who have misled the nation into Iraq.
Boldface added for both quotes. From "bring it on" to "I won't have it" in less than two weeks. Why should I be assured that he will stand up for America as president when he so quickly ducked from a fight he asked for in the first place? Seriously, why?
