The war continues
I had not intended to post again today, to let the photos below do my talking. But a large firefight broke out today near Falujah, Iraq. There are reports of American casualties, none reported dead as of now. There was video broadcast a little while ago of a burning American Army convoy, but I didn't hit the grab button quick enough.

Two soldiers wounded in action earlier this week are from my county in Tennessee. Brandon Sandrell, one year out of high school, and Clayton Cates, three years out, suffered shrapnel wounds and other injuries from a remotely-detonated roadside bomb. Sandrell, the driver of their Humvee, saw the bomb and swerved to go around it, a maneuver that may have saved their lives. Both are Tennessee Army Guardsmen.
