Putting the poor lady in prison
Steven Den Beste does his usual fine job of dissecting the sad plight of one Faith Flippinger, "poster child" of the anti-Bush left (although anti-Bush Left is redundant, isn’t it?). A so-called "human shield" in Iraq, she faces prosecution by the Dept, of Justice for breaking the law that proscribed travel of American citizens to Iraq and whatever other laws she broke while human shielding Saddam Hussein.

A BBC piece about her that Steven expertly dissects paints her a persecuted victim of her conscience.

That Fippinger broke the law is beyond dispute. But the point the article tries to make is that she was doing so because of noble motivations, and thus should not be punished because she meant well. (Italics original)
And maybe the judge will buy it.
